The reports that appear in 1854 and 1855 suggest that there were other organised games of cricket in the years before those reported fixtures. Obviously not every game that was played received a write up in any newspaper, or had the scorecard printed.

I have exhaustively screened and searched every newspaper I can through the excellent Trove website to find any mention of cricket games played and reported that featured a Kiama team in them. Through all of this I have found nothing earlier than 1853. As such, no records will appear here. It is not to say matches didn't occur, just that no records of those matches can be found.
