The past week seems to have been quite a busy time with our district cricketers, though their play has been interfered with to some extent by the inclemency of the weather. We are glad to see the manly game thus reviving amongst us; and hope that this activity may prove to be but the precursor of a more spirited carrying out of cricket in Kiama.
On Saturday, the match between the Kiama and Jerrara players, to which we referred two or three weeks ago, came off on the Point. There was not time to finish the game, and as it was arranged that it should be but a one-day’s match, it was given in favour of Jerrara, they being the highest scorers in the first innings.
