The return match between the married and single players of the town and district was played in Kiama on Saturday last, and resulted in a victory for the latter by three wickets.
It was a very well contested game. The batting of the married men was equally as good as that of their opponents; but the single players were much better in the field. The game was for a lunch, and they have now had to treat each other - the first match having been won by the married men on St Andrew's Day last. We understand that the losers on this occasion are not convinced that their opponents are too good for them, and therefore, they intend to challenge them for another game in the course of a few weeks.
