CRICKET.- On Saturday last a friendly game was played on the Kiama ground, between the Kiama and Berkeley teams. In the morning fears were entertained (from the gloomy appearance of the sky, and the steady rain that fell) of the day's pleasure being spoiled; but towards eleven o'clock the rain ceased, and the sun shone out brightly, which inspired the players and they commenced the match. The Kiama side first took up the bat, and in their first innings scored 43 notches, inclusive of byes, wides, &c.- the team (with two or three exceptions) scoring nearly equal. The Berkeley side then went to the wickets, scoring 67. The batting on the latter side was very good and cautious; but still the "favourites"-Messrs. Gordon and Williams - lowered their wickets admirably. At the finish of the first innings on both sides they retired to Mr. Adams', where a lunch was kindly provided for them, after which they resumed the game; but it was so well contested that the day closed upon it unfinished - the stumps were consequently drawn, and it was decided by the first innings:
