A match was played on Saturday last on the Kiama cricket ground, between eleven players from Jerrara and a like number of residents of Kiama, which resulted in favour of the former, leaving three wickets to fall. The play throughout was anything but good.
The game being over at a very early hour, it was proposed to play a one innings match for a ball. The same men played with one exception – JW Williams taking the place of A. Gordon. This resulted in favour of Kiama, the Jerrara men scoring 57 and their opponents 58, with two wickets to spare.
