A match is to be played on Saturday next between thirteen of the Kiama Albert C.C, and eleven of the Kiama United Club: and we are requested to state that the secretary of the latter club has received a challenge from that of Gerringong to play a match on the following Saturday.

The match as intimated in our last to take place on Saturday between eleven of the Kiama United Club and thirteen of the Kiama Alberts, came off accordingly, and a great deal of interest was manifested in the game. A large number of spectators assembled on the point to witness it, whose sympathy was, as usual, of course, with the "juveniles"
According to previous arrangement, the match was to be decided by the first innings, the game not being commenced till after 11 o'clock : and, as may be seen by the scores below, the victory was obtained by the eleven. They took first inning by mutual consent, as some of their number did not arrive on the ground for an hour or more after the play was opened, and they managed to score the greater number of notches. The play throughout the match was creditable to both teams - that of Messrs. R. King, W. Reid, C.McCaffrey, the brothers Spinks, and S. Richardson especially so. Some splendid hits were made in the second innings by Messrs. King and Richardson. The wicket-keeper on behalf of the Alberts, by his manipulation of the ball and his alacrity attracted much attention: and an impartial critic would be bound to admit that Boob was a fool to him, His play was greatly admired - not by the spectators, but by himself.
